Step 1.
You need to decide which significator will work better for
the purpose of your reading. A few examples:
- Fish for money matters.
- Anchor for work matters.
- Heart or Ring for love questions, you'll choose the Heart
if it is more about feelings, or the ring if it is about
how a relationship is doing.
- Mice or Coffin for illness issues.
Once you got that clear put the card in the center. It
would be the card marked with an "S" in the layout above.
Step 2.
Put one card on top of the significator and another card at
the bottom of the significator card.
Step 3.
From the center (the significator position) put 4 cards to
the left and 4 cards to the right.
Now that you have your cards arranged on the table let's
look at how to read this spread.
a) The vertical line, the Significator and the cards on top
and bottom will bring information about the present
situation related to the question you've made to the
oracle.
b) The cards from the Significator to the left will tell
you about the past events.
c) The cards to the right of the Significator is the
probable future.
d) The last card in the horizontal line will tell you the
outcome. The cards in between the significator and the
outcome card will give you more specific information about
the probable future.
Note: Most people tend to look for combos only with the
cards that are one next to the other. There is no reason
limit the reading this way. You can combine the
significator with any of the cards in the line and then use
the cards in between to bring more specific information,
just as we do with the outcome card.
